Whether the KKLT anti-brane uplift is under parametric ten-dimensional supergravity control is actively debated.

Why it is stated this way
Defenders argue that supersymmetry breaking is localized on the anti-D3-brane and that an explicit ten-dimensional analysis reproduces the four-dimensional result. Skeptics argue that explicit ten-dimensional treatments show infrared singularities in the anti-brane backreaction, and that the integrated ten-dimensional equations obstruct the uplift.
Scope and limitations
This is a live technical dispute between established groups — not a fringe objection to a settled result, and not a refutation either. The existence of a singularity in a given approximation is not the same as its being physical; defenders argue brane polarization resolves it. Citing only one side misrepresents the literature.
